Freezing fog #1: Ice spikes

These past few days we have had many nights of 'freezing fog'. If you have ever wondered what freezing fog does to the trees, this is it! Shards of the most delicate ice crystals form and make these spikes all over. This next week I will be featuring a few of the photos I have taken of the aftermath of freezing fog.

I know it's called hoar frost, but we call it hair frost!
